In 1964, Bob Dylan recorded a song called “The Times They Are A-Changin’”. In the liner notes of the album, Bob Dylan said: “This was definitely a song with a purpose. I wanted to write a big song, with short concise verses that piled up on each other in a hypnotic way.”

I’m taking a cue from Bob Dylan. After nine years of doing the Monday Morning series, the times they are a-changin’. I want to retain the purpose of the Monday Morning series while also writing bigger pieces that help you move the needle on your performance. I want my contribution to your world of work to be hypnotic in its ability to get your attention and make your life easier and better.

Starting in 2018, the purpose of the Monday Morning series will remain the same, but the format and frequency will change. I’ll be publishing every other Monday and will be alternating long form and short form articles and videos. Long form articles will go deeper into the topic and will focus more on how to implement.

Why make the change? It’s quite simple. I’m not here to write and serve my own wants and needs. I’m here to make your work life better.

I’d like your help with content ideas for the 2018 Monday Morning series. If you have suggestions, advice or answers to the following questions I’d love to hear from you. You can email me at hugh@clarisconsulting.net. Here’s what I’d like to know:

1. What are your biggest challenges, opportunities, and goals for 2018 in the areas of leadership, culture, strategy, talent, mindset or implementation?

2. What are the obstacles you’re facing with regards to addressing #1?

3. What would you like to learn in order to ensure you address or accomplish #1?

Thank you for your support over the last nine years. I wish you and your family Happy Holidays as well as peace, happiness and prosperity in 2018.
